35 Wonderful Years!!!!!

Happy Anniversary Gary! Here's my honey standing outside the Stonehill Winery in Hermann, MO. Hard to believe we've been married this many years. He's the hardest working man I know. I wouldn't trade him for the world. We just returned from Sycamore, Illinois--set up at an antique show at Blumen Gardens. What a wonderful setting, town--everything. I have lots to post but this will have to do for now.
I'll post more later,
Until next time,
Pam

Historical Hermann, Missouri

Hermann Missouri might be one of the most beautiful old towns I've seen in a while. It has one historical building or home after the other. I'm showing a few pictures, some already rehabbed and some in need of some TLC. I love them all. The antique show was in the Festalle building shown in the first picture. I'll post pictures of my booth later tonight. It was a great show for us. Sold lots of stuff! Can't wait until next spring.

This bed & breakfast is for sale--I wish I could afford it.
Needs some lovin!

Itty-bitty shop!

Closed on the day we were able to shop!

Another shop closed on the day we arrived!

If you ever get the chance to go to Hermann, you will love it. Full of charm, peaceful & beauty.
Until next time,
Pam

Loaded and Ready To Go Again!

Hermann, Missouri here we come! The truck is loaded and we are just about ready. All but the clothes! and snacks! I thought I'd show a few more pictures of fun things we have come upon recently. I can't tell you how sweet this picture is. It is an early watercolor and I love the flag!

Who doesn't love a homemade Raggedy Ann & Andy.

When in Nashville I came across these seed packets. I loved them, so I bought them all. I love to frame them, 4 at a time in a black frame. They have been selling really well for $15.00. I also sell them individually for $2 per pack. It's getting hard to find nice old seed packets. These are from Pennsylvania. Let me know if you are interested. I can ship anywhere.

Couldn't resist these old rag balls. Assorted fabrics and colors. Something we all need!

Hope everyone has a great weekend. I plan too! I'll take pictures and post when I get home.
Until next time,
Pam

Gary Had Another Fun Day of Junkin!

We're getting ready to load tomorrow for the Antique Show in Hermann, Missouri and as luck would have it, Gary made another house call. I'm showing a few fun things that he was able to get cleaned up and ready to go. I love this wagon, but I can't keep it, I already have 3! He did a little staging for fun!

We don't think it is a homemade wagon. Really cute!
Great pair of chairs. Just cleaned them and left the color!
Old gym lockers. Great for storage.

Front shot of the lockers.

Looking forward to the show. It's only 1 1/2 hours away, rain is forecast but it's inside.
Until next time,
Pam

Tired but Happy--You Know the Feeling????

Do you ever think---"What was I thinking?!!!!". I think the pictures of my niece--that would be Annie---tells it all. I call her Baby Girl. I truly love her. She is playful and full of bright ideas.

I felt like her, all spry and full of energy--we are getting ready to set up at the Hermann Antique Show this weekend. It will be a great show and I'm looking forward to it. Only about 1 1/2 hours from home. Feel a little tired but----But that wasn't enough! Got a call about an opening at the "Gateway to Spring Antique Show" at Blumen Gardens in Northern Illinois. We said--YES!!!! Would love too! So.......
Here we are---thinking of what to do first to get ready for back to back shows!! I think Annie, aka Baby Girl has the right idea! We'll sleep on it!

The first show is this week end Sat & Sunday In Hermann, MO -- the Hermann Antique Show at the Hermannhof Festalle & Hofgarten, Hermann, Missouri. The next show is Friday, April 24th and Saturday April 25th at the "Blumen Gardens" in Sycamore Illinois. Yippee! I think I am excited--or crazy?????
Until next time,
Pam

Easter Treats, Family & Another Puzzle

Another fun day with my family. My niece Krystal made these adorable cupcakes that looked liked little baskets. Not only were they pretty, they were tasty!

Krystal--she makes awesome brownies too!
We never have a family get together without a puzzle and they worked hard enough that they finished it. Once again, I didn't do any of the puzzle! Boring!!!!
I hope everyone's Easter was a good one. Started real early for us with a Sunrise Service. I bet I don't last long tonight! Oh yeah, my new Parmesan Peppercorn Salad Dressing was a hit!
Until next time,
Pam

HAPPY EASTER!!!

Happy Easter to everyone! I have a Sunrise Service at church in the early morning and I'm already afraid I'll oversleep. Just watched The Ten Commandments again for the millionith time. I watch it like I watch "It's A Wonderful Life" at Christmas. Headed to my sister's house for dinner tomorrow. I'm making a new dressing for my salad--Parmesan Peppercorn--Gary tried it as my guinea pig tonight and he loved it. We'll see what everyone else thinks tomorrow.

Until next time,
Pam

FUN IN IOWA

Well, I loved Iowa. I'm showing pictures of our booth at the Midwest Antique and Decorative Arts Show in Cedar Rapids. I hadn't been to Iowa since I was a kid going to my Aunty June's! The show was just OK for us. But....the whole area was under Winter Storm Watch and Warnings so I'm sure that played a part in the traffic at the show. And, yes, Scarlett, you were right, the white painted breakfast set sold right at show opening and is headed to a cottage in Minnesota! We stopped at Sisters Garden and Bloom. I have pictures for another post. I LOVED everything about those shops! Met Elaine, kept her overtime and she was a pleasure. Can't wait to go back and will certainly allow more time for shopping. Barb was going to meet us on Monday but I thought we'd better get out of there before bad weather got worse! Also had time to go to the Amana Colonies. We love old historical buildings and I have alot of those pictures for another post as well! Hope you enjoy the show------
I bought this quilt while in Iowa. I love the blue colors.

I hate going to the dentist, but I love this old spooky dentist chair, right out of our town of Alton, Illinois!
My work counter is in the right hand corner! Very useful for wrapping.

Who doesn't love rag dolls!

I had to have this rag doll, I'm naming her Mary Jane because she is guarding her bowl of Mary Jane candy!

Grandma Bertha had blue hydrangea bushes!

We'll be going back to Iowa for the next show in September. It will be better I'm sure!
Until next time,
Pam

We're Headed to Iowa's Midwest Antique Show

We leave in the morning for Cedar Rapids, Iowa for the Midwest Antique & Decorative Arts Show. It's new for us, only a one day show this Sunday, April 5th from 10 until 4 at the Hawkeye Downs Fairgrounds in Cedar Rapids. We are taking this great white Breakfast Set. I love it. Would be perfect for a breakfast nook or covered porch area.

This is a sweet little child's size vanity with mirror. Could be a bedside table too!
I'm taking alot of smalls, great country items including this child's set of ironstone dishes.
For more information about the show, go to the Midwest Antique Show website. Hope to see you there. I also hope to make some stops at shops along the way. We've never headed this way, so it will be new and fun. Hope the snow holds off!
Until next time,
Pam
