Maybe a White Christmas?

No snow yet, but maybe some for Christmas!  I know it's pretty, but I'd be just as happy looking at these fun Snowmen!  I wished I would have kept these vintage shakers.  Sold them right away!

One-Of-A-Kind Yardstick Folk Art!

Gary has been busy creating many new and useful items using yardsticks.  The carrier below would be precious with herbs in it!

What Is It About This Tree!

I don't know how many of these ceramic trees we have sold so far this year!  Each one is different, and pretty, but what is making them so hot this year!

We have one customer that has 179 and keeps them in one room all year round.  Yesterday, we had a couple that has at least 50 and didn't want to share with the kids, so bought one for their daughter for a gift!  It was white, medium sized with pastel butterflies on it.  Cute and they loved it.  I know we sold 3 more yesterday.  We usually sell alot of aluminum trees, and have been getting requests, but between me and the dealers in my shop--we have sold them and can't seem to come up with more.  Supply and demand--isn't that the way this world works!

Between Seasons!

It's almost time for Thanksgiving?  Where has this year gone?  Had to do a little in between window--Halloween is out, but not Christmas yet!  I love the colors of fall!

 This is a table setting in the window that will do for now.  Nothing fancy, just a fall table setting. 

I've been busy with estate sales and neglected my blog!  Now I have a couple more in the works.  It's feast or famine.  I'll take the feast anytime.

Love the Small Stuff!

Who doesn't like finding small stuff? It's all starting to run together--where did it come from? You open a box and inside that box are more boxes--smaller in size. Each box is like a Christmas surprise. Here are a few things I found--or I should say I found sometime, somewhere and thought "I must have these"!

Love this handmade pincushion. It's really worn, but could you toss it? I can't.

I love the "red" color of the case of this Kodak timer. Will look great with vintage clocks--I have dozens of them to get cleaned up for the shop.

The tiny buttons in this old bottle are not perfectly round. They look like early carved buttons. Love them!

Who doesn't love an old stack of postcards? Takes me forever to get anything done because I have to stop and look at each one!

This box has an unfinished family of dolls. Really sweet! Dad, Mommy and kid!

Great Pick in St. Charles!

We went on a great pick on Friday and as promised--I am showing pictures of the great Historic Downtown St. Charles MO. I'll show pictures of what we picked later! The buildings in St. Charles speak for themselves! I love them all. Many have been there for years. St. Charles is only about 30 minutes across the river from us. A big tourist attraction outside St. Louis.

This particular shop has been in business for years. It is in the old blacksmith shop.

Gary loves the old blue shutters on this building. He wants to live there!

This old building houses the restaurant we love to eat at. It's quiet, cozy and the food is awesome. The salad bar is like an old church potluck! Yum. We actually had a date night and could sit and talk, and dream and just have fun! We forget that we don't have to work ALL THE TIME!
