Finally--Blumen Gardens in Sycamore, Illinois

I've been away from the blogworld so my pictures are late! We setup at a wonderful antique show at the Blumen Gardens in Sycamore, Illinois. What a setting! This town is really beautiful. I have lots of pictures of the wonderful old homes and mansions that I'll post at another time. We always find ourselves driving around taking pictures of old homes. The really great thing about this town is that it's downtown was thriving. Cars were at businesses everywhere. Restaurants, bars, stores, bakeries, you name it. I found no big supercenters or huge grocery stores. It was all local. What a refreshing thing to see.

Here are some pictures of our booth. It was very colorful and cozy in this part Blumen Gardens.

We met some great people, and had a great show. Already looking forward to next year.

I love the old folky homemade child's chair and I really want to keep the navy & red dress and hat. But, that doesn't pay the bills!

The plka dot bowls were to die for. Sold them to our new friend Janis who lived just a few blocks from the show. Turns out, that even though we live 5 hours south of her, I handled an estate sale for her best friend a few years ago. I have to behave every where I go! I'm sure we'll be seeing Janis again next year!

You remember my rag doll--Mary Jane from a previous post. She still needs a home!

I hope you enjoyed the show! We sure did!
Until next time,
Pam
