Tired but Happy--You Know the Feeling????

Do you ever think---"What was I thinking?!!!!". I think the pictures of my niece--that would be Annie---tells it all. I call her Baby Girl. I truly love her. She is playful and full of bright ideas.

I felt like her, all spry and full of energy--we are getting ready to set up at the Hermann Antique Show this weekend. It will be a great show and I'm looking forward to it. Only about 1 1/2 hours from home. Feel a little tired but----But that wasn't enough! Got a call about an opening at the "Gateway to Spring Antique Show" at Blumen Gardens in Northern Illinois. We said--YES!!!! Would love too! So.......
Here we are---thinking of what to do first to get ready for back to back shows!! I think Annie, aka Baby Girl has the right idea! We'll sleep on it!

The first show is this week end Sat & Sunday In Hermann, MO -- the Hermann Antique Show at the Hermannhof Festalle & Hofgarten, Hermann, Missouri. The next show is Friday, April 24th and Saturday April 25th at the "Blumen Gardens" in Sycamore Illinois. Yippee! I think I am excited--or crazy?????
Until next time,
Pam

  1. CRAZY!!!
    However, you're in good company!I was telling a friend of mine earlier this year "if you can make a nickle, do the shows!" Then I recieved a call about doing a small, one day show near by and I said "no thanks" then my own words hit me like a 2X4 in the forehead, so I called back and agreed to do the show. I had a GREAT TIME, I also sold better than the following 3 day, tough,tough show I attended the next month! I love working with people, I do some pretty "fancy pants" shows, but how wonderful it was to get back to the basics, back to my antiquing roots! { I even had one dealer giving me advice were my kind of stuff would sell great { another small show near by} I didn't tell her that I used to do that show many years ago, I just nodded and smiled.} So Crazy, maybe,I think we're just "Cool Cats"!
    {THAT WORK WAY TOO HARD!}
    'til next time,
    Barb C.
    p.s. I love your blog too, and your sweet little baby!!!

  2. Hi Pam, I wondered where you guys were in Texas. It was tough - believe me. But, they all are now, it seems. And, it's such a long show. I'm thinking of going to Brimfield. It's fast and furious. And, if you are going to sell it will all happen in 5 hours and you're out of there. Kim
