Well--I have to say farewell to the red sofa and chair. It dates to 1957, purchased in Benton, Illinois. It is the furniture that I grew up with. I talked my mom and dad into letting me put it in the shop. It sold this last weekend and will be leaving Saturday. The young couple that bought it is so excited and I know they will treasure it! It looks like new because mom always kept it covered! We knew company was coming when the covers disappeared. So long RED!
