Porches - Gingerbread Trim & Fretwork

Is it the Porch or the Trim that I love so much? Nothing catches the eye like a well-maintained front porch with lots of trim, flowers and color. We always take the time to drive around town when we are doing shows, especially those old towns that are full of century+ year old homes.
These are a few of the porches that caught my eye in Galva Illinois.
We used to live in an old Sears & Roebuck home, two story with a great front porch. We would sit on the porch swing and all of the neighbor kids would come over. They are all grown up now with families of their own.... and we have moved! Great memories though. The front porch below is similar to our old porch.
